Dream/Nightmare project

This is the process I made this far on my three panels. I want to make the panels blurs into each other to match my dream/nightmare theme. The first panel is pop art, the second is soft cubism, and the third is art nouveau, a huge influence for my third one was Klimt’s piece the “Beethoven Frieze”.
Here is a color study of what I like to do with the third panel. At this panel you will start to see a transformation into sweet dreams to terrified nightmares.

Here are some sketchs I made at frist, of Burno starting to become alarmed of what is behind him; as he feels the wind being pulled on his fur, by the evil vacuum.

Dream/Nightmare ideas

The first two paintings are done by Gustav Klimt, who was a symbolism painter and that followed into the Art Nouveau style. The second painting on the right in the middle is called Beethoven Frieze; I want to model my dog character Bruno off the beast like creature in the center of the painting. The Klimt influence will be my art nouveau section of this project. This style is going to be done on the third panel, where poor Bruno’s dream is now transformed into a terrible nightmare of him being chased by a evil dog sucking vacuum.
The other influencing artist aia chossed was Tamara de Lempicka who focus on a more sofer verison of cubism. Artist like Lhote called her work “soft cubism”. The other artist and writter Denis coined another term, calling “synthetic cubism”. I’m going to used Lempicka form of soft cubism for my second panel when the dog is leaping thourgh the air to catch his beloved ball.

Ideas for 1st panel
The first scene in my story is my character Bruno the Dog is chasing his favorite red ball thought is dreams, but the ball always stays out of paws reached during his dream.
My influence for my first panel is going to parody the ultra cute Japanese mascots. I felt like the mascot style will fit my first panel theme nicely, because Bruno remembering how much he fun chasing is favorite ball during the frist part of his dream.
It is consider to be a form of pop art in Japan. These sugary sweet little munchkins can be seen never where in Japanese culture. Mascots are an easy way to attracted peoples attention. In this photo a blood drop sporting a nurse hat, encourages people to give blood.
